About Me

I just started the Baking & Pastry Art program at the Nova Scotia Community College - Akerley Campus. I had been on the waitlist for months, sometimes forgetting that I even applied. I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't getting in and, when I did, it really was a dream come true.

This blog is essentially for me to keep a record of what we do in class, because every day in class feels like a blur. It's also a way for me to keep track of recipes that we use. All recipes are courtesy of Jean-Luc Doridam, the Baking and Pastry Art instructor. The instructions are our responsibility to record and type up and, eventually, I'll post those up here as well.

I'm going to try to keep the blog relatively updated so that I have a way of reflecting on the day's class, recording the recipes, and remembering what actually happened.
